How To Say NO to FOR SALE Investment Plans?
This post is my experience from the real life incident that took place yesterday on June 9th, 2015.
Most of us fall into the web of corporate sales peoples in our relations to invest money in some “FOR SALE Investment Plans” to complete their monthly job targets.
Let’s discuss firstly about what the “FOR SALE Investment Plans” actually are?
FOR SALE Investment Plans
These Investment Plans are those plans that are sold to you without your need for such investment plans, such types of plans mainly are:
- Mutual Funds,
- Life Insurance Plans,
- ULIP Plans,
- Bank Accounts,
- Bank Fixed Deposits,
- Bank Recurring Deposits
….etc, etc.
All such Investment Plans for me are “FOR SALE Investment Plans” that are mostly sold to you by your friends and relatives that are working in any type of Private Financial Company or Private Banks.
They will sell you and you HAVE TO BUY IT because you CANT SAY NO!
The fact is that most of us have to do such investments because we can’t say NO to the person in front of us.
I will just narrate the story first and after that we will discuss the key points and lessons to be learned from real life experiences.
Today, I met through same type of situation in which one of my friend called me up to start a SIP in so and so Mutual Fund to complete his sales target for this month.
Personally, I’m really against for Investment in Mutual Funds – I prefer investing directly in equity shares rather than giving my money to so and so mutual fund company to manage my fund for particular period of time.
Firstly, I was feeling forced to opt for such “FOR SALE Investment Plans” and ready to write the check in favor of so and so mutual fund company.
The Second Thought that came to my mind was “NO – I’m against for the investment in mutual funds” then how can I pour my hard earned money to such fund just for sake to complete my friends sales target?
I kept the courage to say again to my inner soul and mind, that “NO” you won’t do this!
Another moment I uttered the same words to my friend from so and so bank who came to sell me those “FOR SALE Investment Plans”
He tried to convince me a lot that my fund is so much better and blah blah!
But, I followed the rules of my personal investment checklist and had the courage to say NO and stopped my this hard earned money to be invested in “FOR SALE Investment Plans” and all the future selling plans that will be sold to me which I personally don’t like.
Key Points
So, my friends you have to start saying NO to all those “FOR SALE Investment Plans” that you actually don’t even need and in which you don’t even see worth investing.
I would highly recommend to have the courage and start saying NO to FOR SALE Investment Plans, in this way you will save a lot and a lot of your hard earned money in your life.
